Kristen has an extensive, 30-year career in the cardiovascular space. At MedAtlasCV, she oversees day-to-day operations of all of the CV Centers as well as their ongoing growth and development. Along with ensuring the strength of all physician relationships, she develops, implements and monitors all safety and quality benchmarking metrics.

Prior to MedAtlasCV, Kristen was Senior Health Economics Manager at Philips, where she was responsible for leading an innovative corporate value-based healthcare initiative across a range of devices and systems, which helped drive commercial success and market share growth. Results included expanding market share by 15%+ by leading a unique top-down strategy through executive leadership presentations across 20 IDNs. She also co-led  to develop programs that improved Cath Lab operational and financial performance.

Prior to Philips, Kristen was Director of Cardiovascular Services at Banner Heart Hospital where she was directly responsible for the day-to-day administrative and operational functions for the 111-bed largest free-standing heart hospital in the nation. She also provided guidance and leadership to 75+ employees across more than four departments. She also co-led the development and implementation of cardiology clinical practice guidelines aimed at optimizing evidence-based technology to reduce variation and improve outcomes. This enterprise-wide approach of standardization resulted in savings of $1.2 million in its first year. Prior to this position she served as Director of Cardiopulmonary Services at Banner Heart, supervising 55 people from multiple departments, including cardiopulmonary services, non-invasive cardiology, and cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation. 

Kristen has been a keynote speaker at many cardiovascular healthcare organizations and leadership conferences, discussing a range of topics that include value-based healthcare, the current state of cardiovascular services, and key priorities for healthcare organizations.

Kristen has a Bachelor of Science in Respiratory Therapy from Northern Arizona University and a Master of Business Administration in Health/Health Care Administration Management from Grand Canyon University.
